Job Description

We are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant for our Atlanta location!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides administrative and clerical support to divisional leadership, including drafting correspondence, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, preparing reports, and maintaining departmental files and databases.
  • Greet and assists visitors, faculty, staff, students, internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manages calendars, schedules appointments, coordinates meetings, and prepares meeting materials and minutes.
  • Processes purchase requisitions, invoices, travel requests, and expense reimbursements in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Monitor and maintain office operations, supplies, and equipment; coordinate with vendors and facilities as needed.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, reimbursements, and procurement documentation in accordance with financial policies.
  • Assists with the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets and maintains accurate financial records.
  • Coordinates logistics for departmental/divisional events, workshops, and special projects.
  • Support cross-functional projects, data compilation, and preparation of supporting materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and recommend enhancements for greater efficiency.
  • Serve as an inter-divisional and intra-divisional liaison ensuring smooth information flow.
  • Performs other related duties assigned to support the department and institution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a higher education environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with institutional systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to customer service and teamwork.
